I have tried some quick searches but dont know what I should even be searching for. Anyway, about a week ago we noticed these little flowers growing in our LR. They look like white tulips and are really small. Let me know if you have any ideas, I like them, a little flower garden under our little part of the ocean.

soon it will take over, along with that bubble algae. Someone I knew glued them to his back wall so they covered the back.

Ya that bubble algae is probably going to piss me off sooner or later. Perhaps there will be a battle for dominance, east meets west, the ultimate showdown.

They almost look like the polyps of a montipora, without the rest of the skeleton.

I was gonig to say clove polyps. They are small, but could just be starting out.
Google clove polyps and see if that's what you have.

Thanks for the responses guys, I will look into clove polyps. They haven't been spreading too much in the last week or so but I will keep an eye on them and post more pics if there are changes.

Star polyps have 8 tentacles, while these organisms appear to have 9.

They do seem to close slightly when the lights are off, but their so small its hard to tell. I haven't tried touching them yet.
