This little dude popped up in my 12 gallon. There are little white scoop tips on the claws, which makes me think it's not a gorilla or another murderous species.
I haven't added anything for the last 6 months or so, and this is the first time I've seen it. Ninja Crab?

The pic is not clear enough to get you a good id. Pull him out and nab a better photo if you can.
ninja crab for sure. may take out small weak or sleeping fish and pick on CUCs. Not an emerald, although real close. The eye color is wrong, unless he has a case of the photo red eye.

Boy, I really hope he doesn't wipe out the CUC I got from you last week! The crab does have red eyes in person as well. I'll just have to watch the furry little dude (if I can find it again, that is).
