Well, I finally broke down and sliced up a mini and a maxi mini carpet anemone.
This is a sort of test run for me. Here we go.

It was easier cleaner than I thought it would be. I will post their progress. I know there are many who are nervious (as I was) about cutting thier maxi minis, I would hate to loose. Anyone with comments, feel free.

too chicken to slice my own maxis.

I have been too chicken too, I actually can't believe how easy it was:happy: I keep peeking at them half expecting them to be dissolving I put a little power head in the tank directed at them thinking the breeder basket is cutting off the flow. So far, the minis seem to be closing up but the maxi mini aren't. We'll see how it goes. I'll post an updat tomorrow.

I have nerves of steel
It was enormous though, people kept telling me it couldn't be a maxi mini but I know it is. Do these things ever split on their own or what?

I actually think the maxi minis looked better yesterday. Man, should have seen them this morning before lights went on, they looked horrible. They expanded nicely as the day wore on, IMO looking ok. The minis are looking very good, they are handling this ordeal much better.

+1 on the update! Im on the edge of my seat.

Sorry, I forgot to update. Unfortunately I lost 3/4 of the large maxi. Never will do more than halves again, The mini healed very fast, it did wonderfully. I have cut a few more since.

it seems the maxi's take weeks to heal properly.
