I am currently running carbon in a reactor. And according to kent marine, the carbon sucks up trace elements in the tank. how do i know when to replace the trace elements? what do i test for?.when do i add coral vite?. please help. thanks

Your trace elements are all replaced with a good salt mix and regular water changes. Never add any additives or supplements you first do not test for on a regular basis and second know for sure they are depleted and in fact needed. There is nothing short of calcium, alkalinity and magnesium in a heavily stocked SPS system that you need to supplement in almost any system.
