This is how it’s going to work,
PayPal e-invoices will be sent out to buyers separately.
Once the item has been shipped, an email with the tracking number will be sent to the buyer so they can track the package. The package arrives in the US in about 7-10 days.

Sales support will be included along with the 18 month warranty.

For people that are not sure about sending money through PayPal, We could use eBay as well, and they can see the 100% 85+ positive feedback seller profile on eBay. However eBay will charge a US$20 or ~10% (whichever is lower) final value fee that will be charged to the buyer, so it's your choice

Thank you,

kellerexpress

idrm350
So they are selling 110V versions now? Or are these still 220V?

edit: lck-led mentions something about a Cree version coming out in March. Are these the Cree version?
NaClCrocodile
I'm assuming this is only available for members near SF?
Lawnman
The G2 is 110 volt or 220volt you pick.
cmagallon
Hello,
as Lawman mentioned, both the 110v and 220v are available.

Hey,

Do you know if the 60w is dimmable? or if the whites/blues can be controlled seperately on them(60w). and if it will come with the tank mount?

I can't get a reply from any of the retailers.

I would like to get on board, but need this info first. and it seems like you have the in.

It would go in this canopy. I guess given that the fans are on top it would have to slightly hang from inside the canopy.

Thoughts on model for SPS only??
cmagallon
Hello Adrian,

We are lucky to be sponsored by Maxspect, one of the perks is discounted group buys.

non of the systems are dimmable. The 60W is a G1 series which does not have a ability to turn off the bulbs separately, only the G2 series has that feature.

Yes tank mounts for single unit fitures are included.

cmagallon
Yeah, you would have to hang it with the hanging hardware that is supplied with the unit.

Since your tank is under 20" in height, the G2-170w will work fine for SPS only. If you plan of LPS only you can raise the light as needed.

Thanks:)

So do these give shimmer? I know shimmer is created by point-source lighting but with so many sources of light, do we still get shimmer? I can't wait!
cmagallon
Yup:) if it wasn't for the shimmer I would of stuck with MH lights. Got's to have the shimmer.

How much is the group buy discount on top of the discount that have already been taken off? I would like to know since i am very interested. What series can i put on a 20x20x20 tank? will it stick out to much? Can i go with a 110v G-2 110w? what the size weight of the unit if i put it over my tank?
d'Espresso
Thanks for letting me know about this Group Buy! Put me down for the 150w fixture that will plug into a 110 volt unit. thanks! What unit can work for keeping SPS and LPS with dimmers. thanks!
cmagallon
hello Angelynn:)

You would require a ;
G2-160w: (15.7”x7.0”x1.8”)
Web store US$ 580 each
Group buy US$ 510 each
additional $10 off if we reach a total of 20 buyers.US$500 each

No it won't stick out at all , it's 17.5" in length.

The G2-110w would be to small for the depth of your tank.

I will find out the weight of the fixture for you:)

Thanks,

PM me your email if interested.

You bet:)

You will have to mod the the power supply for dimming fuction yourself. That's what I'm going to do:)

I'll make sure to start a thread, but of course it will void the warranty.

What's your tank size? pm me your email too

NOTE:

The rail frame is standard accessories for all G2 units, so there is no additional costs.

Thanks,

Lawnman
What I have found out is the frame rail is standard and so is the hanging kit.But the clamps on the back of the light that allow you to let the fixture rest on the glass is no more. It was replaced by the rails.I could be wrong but 3 suppliers told me this.
cmagallon
Lawnman,

You're absolutely correct, I contacted Maxspec and this is what they had to say;
"The glass panel mount are no longer available in all G2 units, replaced by the rail frame"

My bad, if you really want to glass panel mount I will see what I can do.

Thanks smile.gif
