The legs that came with my fixture don't fit my tank. (too short) Does anyone have any good ideas on how to jimmy-rig some sort of mount for this situation? Hanging it is kind of out of the question as I can't drill into the wall and I don't want a big pvc frame around the tank. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

Duct tape? J/K

If you have a rim on your tank, maybe get some acrylic strips about 1"-2" wide and run them front to back sitting them in the rim. Then just adjust them so the legs you have will sit on them.

It's the nova extreme 18" 2x20 and the cheap plastic legs that come with it. Maybe I could get a couple strips of acrylic like nanoyed said and then bend the edges around the side of the tank to make them fit on there snug. Then I could just set the light directly on there.

Haha, I've heard both. I actually thought about it when I made the thread and decided that I like the sound of "jimmy-rig" better lol.
