im making a refugium and im looking for light for the fuge. i was gunna go DIY LED's but i came across this. will this be enough to grow cheato and mangroves?

oh the fuge is 12'x12'x8' deep

I havent used the lights my self but I can't imagine you would have a problem growing cheato --I grow it under normal compact fluorescents. I can't comment on mangroves, I don't know anything about them.

Go to home depot spend 5 bucks on a screw in shop light fixture and get one of the 7 year CF screw in bulbs, the bigger the better. Hits on 5k give or take a kelvin. It will grow chaeto very well

yeah i was gunna use a homedepot shop light. with a cf light. i just want my tank to be all LED. and to make as little as heat as possible
