Thank you! They are Xen-lux 50w LED grow panels that I got off eBay. They use BridgeLux LED's. I bought all three panels for $270! Here's a link-

Nice find. Awesome, thank you. I'd be real curious to see some PAR numbers on these things...
Oceanus
I am too, so far my maxima clam is really happy, and he's 16 inches away from the lights. Unfortunately, I don't have a lux meter or a PAR meter.
animalmaster6
Lookin' Good!

I like the Clam and Mac happy.gif
Oceanus
Thanks Am!

Gonna go work at the lfs for a few hours. They pay me in store credit. happy.gif

3 for 270? So those are $90 LED fixtures. How's that for competitive pricing? tongue.gif
Oceanus
Totally!

She has been known to sneak up on you in the middle of the night. The rg is the BSB. (Brine Shrimp Burglar).
Oceanus
Since I got my maxima clam, he's added a centimeter of new shell! I got him early January!
animalmaster6
Seems like the lights are working magic! omgomgomg.gif
Oceanus
Maybe... well, at first I thought that I might be very underpowered with 'em, and that I'd need to get so mh retro's.
Oceanus
Got mj 1200 and a rhodactis frag. happy.gif
animalmaster6
Nice, love Rhodactis.

Also grats on the MJ1200.
Oceanus
I love those rhodactis. I love the mj. I have a nice shimmer effect from the LED's now. happy.gif

Got four fuzzy green rhodactis on a 1/2 lb chunk o lr for $10. Can't beat that. Got to get a second mj 1200. I will wind up with 2 mj 1200's, and a couple of assorted koralia's.
animalmaster6
That's an excellent deal.

Yeah the more flow the better happy.gif
Oceanus
I need to get rid of that sore throat.
animalmaster6
Ugh I had a sore throat the other day.
Oceanus
I know they're real nasty. I am getting a navarchus in! In 2- 3 weeks!

Needs more Bubble magus

It so does. Got any good sites that sell BM's cheaper?
revaltion131
Totally selling the product I bought here, but look at a Tunze DOC skimmer if you're still looking for a new one (and if you were the guy needing one). You can find a used one at a great price and they really pull tons of crap out of the water. The first day I had my tank set back up, the skimmer pulled probably 3 cups of junk out of the water (I soft-cycle).
Oceanus
I would love a Tunze, but I'm afraid I can't spare the cash for something in the $300+ range. On a side note, I might a a SPS frag or to to observe growth, I hope that they'd like the LEDs, but after all, these are really low powered ones.
nanoreef-R
BM is the cheapest thing ever! huh.gif
farkwar
Did it crack and flood yet?

@ R- no it isn't, Aquatraders is. tongue.gif
Oceanus
Woot! I getta work at the lfs today, unloading their shipments!
Oceanus
Me bought a copperband b-fly! Pics once he's in, aka in 2 hours. Drip acclimation is fun!
animalmaster6
Nice!!

I love them happy.gif

He was $42. I saw him vacuum up mysis at the store, as I've been watchin him for weeks. He's a beak- powered vacuum
animalmaster6
My favorite kind of vacuum happy.gif
Oceanus
Mine too. happy.gif I went to the museum today, and they had two 75g aquariums, each with a cbb. I'm hooked. P.S. I had them put a mandarin on hold for me. omgomgomg.gif navarchus omgomgomg.gif
Oceanus
He's doin great! A lil chasing from my Mac, but now the cbb is part of the posse!
animalmaster6
Woohoo!!
Oceanus
He actually ate brine shrimp 15 minutes after being introduced yesterday!
animalmaster6
Awesome!
Oceanus
Still doin great!
animalmaster6
When you going to to change that statement "aka Epic Fail"?
revaltion131
A little late coming to this but if you're patient and do want a Tunze, they'll show up in the $150 to $250 range. Good luck with the CBB. Mine did not end well (nasty infection) but it was an awesome fish until that point and I'm tempted to try again.
Oceanus
Thanks! I think that I may be patient, but BM NAC-7's for $170, well.

The cbb is happy and eating well. He seems to be a healthy fish.
revaltion131
Very nice. Like I said, awesome fish if they do well. You have me thinking of picking up a navarchus and ditching my trimac idea. How is your nav doing?
