Well about 2 months ago I get a PM and he wants to buy some frags and would pay for them on a set day.So I fragged them for him and never heard from him for over a month. Then he sends me a PM wanted to do a trade. He sent me PM's for over a month wanting to trade. So I finally said ok and he paid me for a small frag and 2 heat packs so he would have a heat pack to send me the frags we traded for back to me. So I sent him a nice Flat rate box FULL of frags 2 weeks ago. I even was nice and sent him some higher end zoa frags because he gave me a sad story how there is no nice zoas in his area. Well he received the frags and said 1 of the frags was melted.That is what happens sometimes with Priority. Well he tells me he would ship my frags 10 days ago but was feeling sick.I said no problem send them tomorrow. Then the next day I have to PM him and ask if they were shipped he says no I was in the hospital.Then I tell him to ship them on Tuesday the 16th he says no problem I will. I hear nothing from him so I PM him once again and he says no I didn't ship them because I was working out in the sticks and was moving and had no phone service. So he says he will send them on Feb 17th I hear nothing again.So I PM him and say did you ship my frags what is up?He replys and says yes I sent them but my post office called me and they squashed your box and I had to go pick it up. I said just forget it you can keep the frags. You need them more than me. He says NO I don't want you to think I am a punk I will send them out to you tomorrow. So today I PM him and said did you send them and he says no because you didn't reply back and I didn't think you wanted them. What a horrible experience with a sketchy guy.

Sorry Brad, If you just stick to doing stuff through me you wouldn't have this problem.

Seriously though, I hope this gets resolved for both of you. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and it looks that you have done so. I know you wouldn't post this in the feedback forum unless something was seriously off.

Thanks Nic I have sold to TONS of members on here and always hook people up. I have even refunded money in the past when things didn't make it when I shipped them priority.Just feel like I got taken advantage of when all I did was try to help someone out. It is a crappy feeling and don't want to see it happen to other reefers that might be less fortunate than me. He can keep the frags I just wanted to warn others.

okey i get a pm from lawnman last night asking about the frags and he tells me to keep em and he doesnt wanna deal with me anymore...so i message him to tell him i still wanna send em to him and receive no reply...so i assume he doesnt wanna deal with me...so he pm's me today asking about the frags and i say no i didnt send them cuz you didnt reply so i thought he didnt wanna deal with me...so in order to be fair i was gonna send em overnight tomorrow to squash this and not leave a bad impression with him cuz hes a cool guy...than he proceeds to post this and call me a loser than block me from pm'ing him...yeah i screwed up and didnt do what i said i was gonna do...i am a complete shipping newb(this being my first time)...i own up to being a horrible communicator but i dont want anyone to think im some shady punk...and my sob story really? i commented on my lfs's poor quality is that a sob story? im more than willing to ship his stuff im not trying to rip anyone off especially someone who has helped me out...so im sorry for being horrible at this and am more than happy to resolve this either in private or publicly

Well first this is not going to be a argument. You gave me a sob story of having no money and saying there was no good places to get good zoas.So me being a nice guy I HOOKED you up. I even told you how to ship.I said let me ship first and you can use my box to send back. I was more than fair with you in what I sent and what you was going to send me. Keep the frags go sell them and get your phone turned back on. I blocked you because I don't want to hear no more excuses.

Brad, you’re a cool dude man, and one of the easiest and nicest people I have dealt with in the hobby. Every transaction that you and I have had, has been super smooth, well communicated, and the ending result is FANTASTIC!!!

Honestly man, it's a tough situation and he gave you more opportunities than most members would give you.. Not only that, but he sent you everything you needed to ship. (Box, and heat packs) We all have been shipping newb's at one point or another, but it doesn't seem like you asked for help? And if you did, then awesome. What happen then?

I personally think in order to save a rep you showed show public info. I can completely see this turning into another episode of "As the reef turns"

If i were you, I'd send them anyway, try and make it up to him. It couldn't hurt. seems like a ####ty situation to be in for both of you. hope you can work it out.

Send them to Moto when you ship him his frags from the trade.

Because you owe them to him, not someone else. Send them, if he trashes them, thats his problem. Then at least you did your part and sent him the corals. After you send them, he can't say, you didn't send them. I could be wrong, and don't want to speak for someone else, but if I was in his shoes, and you sent them to me, I would come back here and tell everyone you did your part. Good Luck, YMMV, Mark

Still no package today. No I do not have any frags for sale at the moment nor a website. I just sold ALOT of stuff lately because I had to many zoas and am going to a smaller but better quality tank.

Absolutely unbelievable. Thought for sure after communication resumed and address/offer extended for the 4th time that Hernanddez would of ship the following morning. We're past all possible/pausible excuses and this guy sours the good will of the veteran members/sellers on NR. Mods, you ought to ban this scab and block the IP address from making a new membership account.

Lawnman, you handled this well and used tact and diplomacy in your statements, when I know you had to of been really pissed. Multiple attempts to handle this privately before posting and then once public, extended the proverbial olive branch only to be fooled once again. Sorry it happened.

Upon my return to business, hearing about situations just like this one has made me really picky on what work I am willing to do. Its sad when folks who have a common interest like we all do here at NR get the raw end of the deal. I have had more from this site try to screw me than I want to count. But it really gets to the point that you can almost smell a rat over the I-net. Thats bad!
I remember back when my tank crashed Greeneyes started a send TCK some get well corals. It wasnt but just a few days until I had packages roll into my hands. I couldnt afford to pay those people back. But let it be known I made for damn sure that every one that had helped me out got credit where it was due.
Brad I admire how you handled this as well. Props to you are to be had! So I would as you have turn this thread into a credit is due thread. Give them all the bad credit they have coming. If it helps one other from getting the shaft then your work was not in vain.
