im thinking of setting up a lion fish aquarium,
is there any chance i can see some of you setups to see different design on the tank,
not the filter just the aquarium itself.
also what fish do u keep with you lion fish

Sorry i dont have pics as it was about 13 years ago that i had a tank like your wanting but let me give you a little run down of what was in my tank.

Standard CUC memebers with a few extra brittle stars and crabs to clean up after i live fed my lion and other fish.

The tank was scaped like a basic peninsula tank and viewable from all sides. (The peninsula was small in height to give the most swimming room i could)

The other fish in clueded 1 spiney puffer 1 cow fish 1 box fish and 2 triggers. 2 cleaner wrasses 5 green chromis(Yes the chromis schooled and yes they, the big fish, all ate feeder gold fish 2x daily)

I had a few different macro algaes growing and kept then trimmed and under control.

I had a few leather coral and various polyps and mushrooms on the peninsula.

Filtration .. i had a sump that was about 25% of my overall water volume (back then i still used bio balls in the sumb on the trickle side of things after the water passed through filter media) then into a chamber for in sump skimmer then returned to the tank. No fuge as my macro grew in tank)

Lighting back then was not what it is today so to even compare would be useless.
