Full Version: how long for aquamend to turn purple.
Whats up all, yesterday I got a few bigger pieces of some cali tort and used aqua mend to attach it on the side of some LR and now got a big white spot on my completly corline purple coverd LR. Just wondering if anybody who uses it about how long it takes to start getting some growth. I know all tanks will be different with there additives and what not just looking for a base time line with people who have used it thx's again ..
Don't know how long, but they do make a red/purple'ish colored putty which is much less annoying and fairly invisible.
yea whats the name of that putty and does it work good ..were can i get it..? thx's
It takes a very, very long time to turn purple unfortunately.

It's better to use it then try to forget about it -- one day, you'll look at your tank and not realize it's there any more, then you'll look more closely, and you'll see it has blended in with the rest of the rock
