So, Ive got my tank setup...Modded AC110 will eventually be full of cheato. Right now I have basically no mechanical filtration and for chemical my only option is floating a bag of something in the 110.
I was thinking about getting a small hob...like a AC20-30. Using that for a little mechanical and chemical filtration.
Would there be much benefit from that? I know some people dont have any mech or chem filtration. Just wondering what others think....

Chemipur and phosban, you could make a little compartment or case out of acrylic like I did.

Carbon and phosphate remover if you need it. BTW...chemipure is fine, but its really only the carbon in it that is doing anything for you. The ionic exchange they claim does not happen in salt water. For it to work it must have a much much lower ph than is possible in our tanks.

EDIT: Forgot to add...Floss, changed frequently. Prob the most useful addition to your AC.
