Ok, so I have a camera that takes pictures that take way to much memory and I can't post them on nano-reef. How can I lower the memory space that the picture uses? Also, the camera isn't a SLR but I might get a Sony Alpha series.

Somewhere in your camera's menu system (impossible to say where without knowing the make and model of the camera) will be an option to lower the resolution of the photos you're taking. If you ever print your pictures or do anything with them besides posting online I wouldn't recommend you do this, but it's available to you. Best thing you can do is take the photos as you have been and resize them before posting. I think even Photobucket will resize them for you now.

Google's Picasa makes it easy to resize pictures. Download it for free, find the pictures, and Export them as a lower resolution (800 or 600 max).

You can post any size picture to nano-reef if it is hosted from there.
