Congrats, I've recently picked up the Acan bug as well. They are one of the coolest corals out there.

Thanks everyone for the nice thoughts. I am beyond honored to be included with some of the other featured reefs. While I am happy with my tank, I dont feel it quite stands along side of some of the others.
To those who mentioned the Nuc Greens...they started from a frag of two polyps I got from World Wide Corals while on a trip to Disney 18 months ago. One of my other corals I failed to mention is the one on very top of the Monti tower. That was actually my 1st coral ever, came to me as a pin head sized hitchhiker five years ago. I am not sure what it is...maybe a porites of some sort.
Thanks again reefers,
Mark

Congrats Mark! Gorgeous tank!
How have the trimmas been for you? I'm thinking of adding 3-4 to my 9g tank.

The Trimmas are (if you have to mail order) poor shippers but are bullet proof once in the tank. They get along well and two have paired up, breeding every month or so.

Good to hear! I didn't know you were from beufort - I grew up in Spartanburg and we'd get down that way once a year or so. Anyways, big congrats - your tank is certainly inspiring.

Congratulations!!! I have been following your tank for a few months and I love all of your detail work and how everything seems to work well together.
I only have one small Acan colony, but I plan on adding more in a few months. Last week I watched it fight off a crab and devour a whole shrimp molt. I couldn't figure out what I was looking at when I first saw it. It looked like it threw a net over the shrimp and was reeling it in. The crab never stood a chance.

Not what I would do with scape or coral choice but this tank has a refinement most other TOTMs don't have. It looks finished like a complete piece of art.
Tell a little about the pink streaked wrasse. Easy eater? Personality? Cruiser, picker, hider, or ?? Thanks and great tank again.

Easy, cruiser, peaceful. Just like a mini six-line without the aggression.

Hello!
I am a budding nano-reefer and am very excited by what I've seen on this site. I hope to achieve a tank with even a fraction of the beauty as what emanates from the Feb2010 showcased reef. It's truly beautiful and something to strive for!
