Wahoo
Hey whats up guys (and gals). I'm going to college at UVA and do some photography work on the side. Saw this forum and figured I'd post some stuff here and there. If you have any comments, suggestions, etc, please feel free to post!

I just got my 80-200 in and figured I'd play with it in the snow, or at least play with it while the dogs played in the snow. My buddy is doing some late-model racing in the spring so I wanted to mess around with some moving objects. Pretty happy with the results overall.

Thanks guys! I'll be adding some of my "real" work when I get around to it.

I like this one. Big dog is about to clobber little dog. Little dog's expression says volumes.

A few pics from my recent trip to Niagara. Pics of the birds are from an aviary, pics of the butterfly and chameleon are from an observatory. I'm too cheap to buy Photomatix, hence the watermarking on the first two pics.

Tree shot would be gorgeous without the watermarks. sad.gif

Some shots from the first few weeks of Spring here in Cville

Lalani
Those first two shots are beautimous! Maybe a touch overexposed, but still.

dizzam,
those are some blossoms. love that first one.
Wahoo
Thanks everybody. I tried to go a little overexposed on the first shot and hyped up the soft focus - I think the overall effect turned out better than the balanced. I'll be sure to update the thread as more stuff blooms around here - I'll definitely miss spring and fall in Cville!
DHaut
you don't have to apologize for lani's pickiness, wahoo. she's such an angry woman. i love the soft focus.
Lalani
Whatever, Luke. tongue.gif

Where is c'ville?

Charlottesville, by chance?
Wahoo
You are correct. I'm attending the University of Virginia - graduating in a couple months.

I thought I recognized that area. I'm from over the mountain in Harrisonburg (or close enough). I love Charlottesville smile.gif

Here are a few pics of a post-final/pre-graduation trip I took to GA. Also a couple randoms... Some graduation pictures to follow soon!

(This one wasn't edited - couldn't post one of Oakley and not one of her!)

The GF's parents bought us a trip to Williamsburg as a graduation present. Mainly stuck to the parks, but could't resist breaking out the camera for a few hours. A few pics from Colonial Williamsburg mixed with some park animals.

Just picked up a used D300 so had to brag a little. Been looking on craigslist and snagged on a nice deal. Shooting a Wedding this weekend, might use it as a backup. Will post pics if I do!

Sweet!

So I took a break from nanoreef due to a tank crash. Getting back into things so I figured I'd post some of my new stuff. Since the last time I was on, I've picked up two D300's. Still getting used to them, but love them so far. First shots are some portraits of my GF, second are some fireworks at Antietam Battlefield in PA, and few random shots from a wedding I did a few months back (some shots with D90). As always, critiques and comments are welcome and appreciated.

Also, updated my website - www.randbphotos.com. Let me know if you have any suggestions or comments on that as well.
