If you add any fish make sure its a goby. Two Marrons and a Coral Beauty in a 29g is stretching it. Maroons are mean and get big.
SWEETLOU
YEAH I HEARD THEY ARE MEAN BUT MY BIGGEST MAROON AND THE CORAL BEAUTY ARE ALWAYS TOGETHER AND PLAY WITH EACH OTHER
Trolldoll
it wont be playing for long. mine draw blood whenever im in the tank by the nem
bubba17311
some sps would look great along the top. as for the anenome they get big quick. I had mine for about 8 months then out grew my tank, also my clown would not host. But now he host a pink frogspawn.

RIGHT NOW I HAVE MY MIND SET ON A BUBBLE TIP. I READ THAT THE MAROONS DO WELL WITH THEM
juniorjose
thats a GREAT choice. bubble tips are a natural host to maroon clown fish. lol...i should have guessed u were going to add then. what other anenomes can u have in that tank wiht that light?. i have a 29 gallon that i just set up and was planning on adding a anenome in the future. my lights have 130 watts in total. sorry if this is thread high-jacking...lolololol

Ha ha no your fine. Well with this light and it being a shallow tank. You can do pretty much anything. Anything that needs alot of light to low light as long as u have some rock ledges to block light

lots of zoos! How about a monti cap or 2? A few birds nest SPS would be sweet on top.

This is purely a luxury but I would also suggest an MP20 pump in that tank if you can afford it. Im just mentioning this because I have a 29g and replaced my koralias with the vortech and the results were HUGE.

if you have enough light to keep a nem then start to think about clams. they will actually improve water quality, they suck down the calc, but clean water. same with sponge.

I would really like a clam and a sponge. But I'm taking baby steps. I'm gonna give the nem a try and see what happens

good move but always be thinkin long term aswell. will help prevent that moment of "doh". had a friend who swore that he waited a month after making every desion about his tank. from my experance clams are easier than sponge, they just need light really. got2envy has some red sponge in her contest tank, worth a read. http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=214842

I will have to read it. I don't take that long between items for my tank. I need to get my water ready and start adding calcium and other additives
