ok guys i have an aquapod 24 and was wondering if i which chamber the skimmer is supposed to be placed in when used with the slim skimmer cup that you guys sell. i do not have the skimmer yet i am just trying to make plans

It will go in chamber one.
The Skimmer will only work if you have an open top. It will not work with the stock hood.

would the saphire skimmer work with the hood or will no skimmmer work unless the tank is open top

That is a question for sapphire but I would imagine it fits with the hood closed. Good luck getting your hands on a sapphire right now.
