Full Version: just used regular superglue to glue down zoa?

I just used regular super glue to glue down a frag that accidently cam off is this ok or did I polute my tank??? I put it inside a small cup and at the bottom of my tank nothing seems to be wrong but I thought I would ask real quick. Thanks,

You should be fine. Superglue gel is much easier to work with though. Any superglue that is cyanoacrylate based is reef safe.

yep, check out a hobby shop if there is one nearby. Way cheaper than normal superglue and way cheaper than a LFS.

I checked it and it is made in india and cyanoacrylate says right on the front. Thanks,

what if its liquid kind that says ethyl cyanoacrylate?

That's fine, cyanoacrylate is reef safe, the gel just works much better for gluing down LPS and zoanthids.
