hey guys, this is a super noob question of me. I just got a frag tank just like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/20X16X10-AIO-ALL-IN-ON...=item2c50395cee

but it doesnt come with the bulkheads. He offers a bunch of bulkheads on his ebay store but im not sure which ones i need. Im assuming the 1/2" bulkheads since thats what the return holes are.

Anyways, wanted to just order everything tonight so it all comes together as a package. Thanks everyone!

PS. Where can i find the nozzles to connect to the bulkhead and what pumps do you recommend for a zoa/LPS frag tank? Maybe Maxi1200's?

I guess you asked him about the bulkheads. The pic shows them and the ad doesn't mention not having them, seems kind of a rip. Oh well, at least you know up front and can make your choice.
Marine Depot carries everything you need, from bulkheads, barbed fittings, and locline.
Get the double threaded bulkheads so a barb fitting can go on one end and the locline on the other. Stay with 1/2" stuff all around, and if you use Maxijet 1200's, the output nozzle will fit 1/2" tubing, so the barbed fitting should be 1/2" also.
Good luck. Looks to be a good size tank. Not sure if you have your aquascaping mentally laid out yet, but check my contest tank thread to get some ideas of the way I did it.
Good luck!
To make it easier:
barbed fitting - FT7533 need two
bulkhead - FT1131 need two
locline connector- LL1119 need two
locline tube - LL1111, probably only need one of these
locline nozzle - LL1117 - need two, or can use other nozzle of choice
flexible vinyl tubing - FT1333 - need several (I'd get three) feet, I prefer black.
Maxijet 1200 - AS1117

Yeah, "item not as pictured" totally came to mind there... I'd email the seller and ask him what size they're drilled for before spending money on the wrong ones. Still kind of a douche move to not include them though in my opinion...

yardboy, thank you so much for the help. Its gonna save a lot of stress on my part! That link i posted was just a reference for a picture. Although the dimensions seem a little different. In the auction I was bidding on the pictures didnt show any bulkheads or loc-lines so i knew what i was in for. Sorta..I also followed your thread on the contest tank and i love it. The layout is so simple it looks great. I just built my friend a 10g and were still waiting on some parts to come in. Def. a great tank to do a DIY setup

Also, the tank is an Advanced Acrylics tank.

I plan on stocking just a few lbs of LR with no sand. I will be building an eggcrate frag rack with a raised section for higher-light needing corals. Im gonna kick off the cycle by using water from my current tank when i do a water change.

Sure Dude!
And thanks for the kind words on my contest tank.
Good advice from organism to verify the size of the holes. If you note on the link with the bulkheads, they tell you what size hole you have to have for a 1/2" bulkhead. It's pretty sizable. 1 1/8"
Good luck with it. I'm looking forward to watching it's development.

I will for sure put up a link to the build. Im excited, just need to find a light and a heater, but it shouldnt be hard. I want to run T5's but im also liking this cheap 150w Odyssea fixture that comes with two actinic T5's. Its only 17" which is the problem. So ill most likely be looking for a NEP. Chemipure will go in the back chambers and maybe ill add some chaeto.

With the links you provided, can i just put them all in my cart and be good with em? Im a little confused as to how the ball connectors work. I think it will be easier to assemble when i see it.
