Got the itch for bigger tank. My 24g Nano is doing great, 4g Finnex is too, so I started looking for a 40-55 gallon setup and scored a 45 Tall hood, stand, has Current usa PC 192 Watt light.
I'll post some pics when it's unloaded, going to paint the back black, clean up wash the sand it came with, ect..........

Yep. I think so. I should have some pics tomorrow. Trying to get stuff dialed in, figure out the sump, overflow.....ect. My friend who I get my live rock from is going to come tweak stuff and make sure I'm setting it up right.
I had to hit the LFS twice cause I can only take 20 gallons of RO/DI per day....lol

These tanks are usually a bit hard to scape, what are your aquascaping pleans?

I know being that it's so tall...Not sure how I'm going to scape. I might try to go for the same look of my Finnex. Two piles, and some sort of shelf so it has a "cave".
Livestock, I want a Pygmy Angle in stock at my LFS even....Maybe a Chromie Damsel or two...a goby too. Yellow watchman maybe..
Oh and the token clown pair. Not sure what color though...I dig the Cinnamin (sp?) color.

I scored a pair of Clarkii Clowns for.......wait, wait.......$5.54!!!!! For the pair! They will be going in the 45T. I just about ####! 75% off, and she screwed up when she rang em up. Thanks Petco manager!
Ha,ha.

Clarkii's get really big, and really dominant, so be careful what else you add to the tank with them.

They're cool fish though, so enjoy them!

Well I finally got the rock tonight. My first scape....I like it, there are lots of holes, little cliffs ect for the fish to hide in. Let me know what you think.

New scape...I'll post pics tomorrow, I had to take everything out to remove two Clarkis' that were beating up my Naked clown...

So here is the "new" scape. This was done to take out a Clarki pair that was killing my Naked ORA clown.


And with her new mate.....

Torch coral I picked up from a local reefer, 5 heads for 40 bucks!
