Who are you? Seems you just joined today to post a negative feedback? If you want to be taken seriously, you'll need to post more details of the transaction you are not satisfied with.

I have bought from amnestia before and was very happy with the purchase. Sometimes it takes him a little while to get back via PM, but he always has for me.

Isn't a bad business transaction a bad business transaction regardless of time on NR? While I agree that more info (with a bit more punctuation) should be provided regarding this particular transaction to review all the details, it still seems as if something did not go smoothly here.
I had the same trouble with Amnestia which resulted in me never receiving the animal purchased or a refund.
So while Amnestia has had some good deals, he has had his share of issues as well, esp. when it comes to communication.
The point of this section is make members aware of what is like to deal with various sellers so they can make an informed decision when choosing whether or not to deal with a particular seller.
Seeing as people make purchases everyday of their life, time spent on NR or the number or posts does not make a person more or less capable of realizing when a transaction was a poor one or not.

I think I made my point pretty clearly. A person who joins and immediately bashes another member for a bad transaction needs to post more information about the transaction if they don't want people to just jump to the assumption they are out to ruin someone's reputation. It's all there in my first post.

Weather here has been ####ty lately. I have personally met Amnestia and he isn't someone that will intentionally screw you over. Your not his #1 priority, give him some breathing room and relax and he will get back to you.

Which in my post, I said that I agreed more information needed to be stated regarding this transaction. However, it is obvious that something did not go right here and seeing how the details that have been posted thus far are exactly the same as my dealings with Amnestia, I tend to believe the OP.
You were not the only one that question the OP number of posts nor did I direct my post solely at you. My original post still stands however, being a long time member on NR (or a mod for that matter) does not give someone more ability to reason or determine if a sale went south or not. Once again, I was under the impression this section of the forums was to alert others to seller's business habits, not a popularity contest to ensure we are liked and we only post when transactions go well.

My guess - perhaps some sort of communication break down happened during this transaction. Ya think?

So if a long time member posted "I hate this guy don't deal with him ok bye" you'd still back that one? Posting a thread bashing someone, and then
posting a reply containing no details AFTER you've been asked to provide some details is a shady move that's only compounded by the low post count. If someone with 10,000 posts had made this thread it would've gone exactly the same way only without the words "low post count."
The vendor experiences forum is for experiences, so far all I'm seeing is someone slinging poo. For all I know he could've split a bag of pretzels with this guy and gotten pissed that he ate more than half.

I've bought items from Amnestia on several occasions and have never had a problem. I've met him in person and like pmoradi2002 said he definitely isn't out there to screw you.
This post should be taken down and if you can provide proficient evidence that something actually happened then re-post it.

where is AMNESTIA? why hasn't this person say anything.
if a person doesn't reply to a bad feedback or shin a little light on to why there is a bad feedback on them. what makes you think they will answer your email or pm after you send them the money.

I didn't even know this was here o.O
In any case if anyone is interested in my feedback concerning this situation please see thread below linking to Reefsanctuary where this originally occurred.
http://www.reefsanctuary.com/forums/vendor...e-amnestia.htmlI did miss ship date for buyer and asked if I could send it the following week, I guess that's where he got the "setup ship date 2 weeks later" thing. Buyer asked for a refund the previous day and initiated a paypal dispute the next morning leaving me less than 10 hours to refund him.
If anyone knows, paypal holds the $ when there is a buyer dispute so I had no funds to refund him. I told him he could drop complaint and i'd refund him immediately or he could wait until paypal takes care of it. He chose to do neither and refuses to listen to me or anyone on the forums concerning the situation.
In any case if anyone doubts my customer service ask 24nanoguy on this forum. He got a package from me awhile ago, first one got stuck in the mail and everything died (during thanksgiving break), I sent him a 2nd package free of charge and everything got stuck an extra 2 days in the mail from what i'm assuming is poor weather in washington, i'm now sending him a third package free of charge. The total package was $100 shipped, after shipping 3 packages thats $45 down the drain for shipping on MY part and $240 worth of corals. In the end i'm losing $200+ in corals but 24nanoguy will be happy. These corals were also shipped PRIORITY mail, and where most people provide no live arrival guarantee i've done so every time.
I also replied to all his pms, the first reply was however 2 days late. If you have any questions concerning the matter feel free to pm me or look at the RS thread.
And the reason you would get a response to a pm or email sooner than a post on this thread is because I don't check the feedback forum too often and was unaware that it was even here.

You could have gotten your money back straight from amnestia weeks ago though like a normal person. Once you initiate a dispute (which on paypal the buyer wins every time no matter what) and start slandering on multiple forums without giving them a chance to respond you can't expect them to cooperate.
OP you are the reason selling stuff online sucks these days. Give people a chance to make things right and don't expect it to be like drsfostersmith.com with a calling center open 24/7 when you buy from someone.
