Can you describe the RSM lighting to me?

Well that StevieT guy just calls them magical.

Magical? What is he up to now? !

Well they are PC / T5s

Are they T5s or PCs? They can't be both! I am new to all of this but I know what the difference is. Mr. Fosi told me in a thread way back.

Well, they are both did I stutter? They have PC 4 pin connections but they have T5 tubes which are smaller and output more than PC which are T6 in size. So they are magical.

Oooooh I see now. If I add them to my tank then I can be a part of this magic!

Pretty much. Your fish may try and cast a spell on you but reports of this are low. They are bright, most SPS can be kept on the top of your tank which is not recommended with PC bulbs. As long as you change them regularly the colors of your corals will pop and good growth will be observed.

How often should I change them?

Every 7-9 months and do not let them run longer than that.

Where can I purchase replacements?

I am so glad you asked that question! You can purchase them by clicking the picture below! Easy as that. Just mouse over and click once. Enjoy the new colors and less algae growth on your glass! Bulb changes are an important roll in every healthy reef setup. Only a good breakfast can beat it.

I know what you mean! I got one of those rack thingies and it came with aptasia and green hair algae!
DHaut
lol.

ok, just because i like stevieT, i'm just joking around. Great company and great products. Now go buy the hell out of some lights.
JohnOTS
LOL

I love my rack!

Now I have to find a way to get inTank to make me my custom cover. I updated my lights and would like to hide the skimmer and junk. inTank needs to hire some employees to handle the high demand of this nano world!

Wish they made something like this for a BC29

It would be the next hottest product to hit the market!

I agree and never. Profits are to be made off of lies

Filtration area cover?

After a lot of popular products are produced by others I will have a chance to look at these other niche items.

Read above. Also to limit the need of a new short cup other engineering has to be done. It can't be say 3" high since an outer orbit sits over the cover by about 1/2". So the cover has to be angled in one area. Hopefully in 2010 I can look at "mass" production.

No, these are specifically for the RSM 130 and 130D. Don't waste your time.

Hi. Welcome to N-R DS. I think you are spending too much time in your parents basement playing WOW. Get outside, see the sunshine cause I have no idea what you are talking about.

Wait, I really am confused!!! What are these bulbs for anyway? Is this something I can install in any canopy? Mark

Thanks for the info, useless to me but seem like good lights to the right person with the right tank.

Sorry, I didn't know what a rsm 130 or 130d was. For all I knew, it was a particular ballast since these are "magical" lights. Here let me bow before your godly-ness and all-knowing, holyness.

Actually I was just messing with Stevie. I don't know who you are and didn't even read your post. But thanks for the snarky comment.

Yes but only if you purchase 6 of them

Yes but they may not light up. I would purchase a few from inTank and find out. No returns excepted unless you agree to a 110% restocking fee.

We aren't very serious here at times especially on the inTank forum.

The RSM is a Red Sea Max which is a popular AIO aquarium. These bulbs will only work with their lighting system. Since I produce products for the RSM they are a good fit to my website.

Thanks for the info. I have been out of the hobby for quite some time. When I was last active, AIO's didn't exist. I am a normal tank kinda gut myself. I may be looking into a AIO for my wife as she is a school teacher and her principal did say she could have a tank in her classroom. Waiting to put the finishing touches on the home tank before we tackle another project though. Good luck with the lights. Lets see some of these "magical" bulbs for the rest of the world.
