I am running the stcok 10,000k/7,100k bulbs that came with my nano 28g. Is there upgradeable bulbs for higher out put that will work in this socket?

Nanotuners has replacement bulbs that are much better than stock. Cheaper too.

What makes them better than stock? Really interested.

Pretty much anything is better than stock. The JBJ bulbs have been tested as one of the worst performing bulbs in terms of PAR. The NT bulbs are much higher output, and you have more choices of better colors.

Will check them out. I want higher output for sure.

Well Nanotunners does not carry the bulb mine takes. It is a 105 watt quad bulb. Does anyone know if there is a better replacement out there somewhere?

as far as i know nobody makes a better bulb or even a replacement bulb other than jbj. your best bet for better lighting would be a retrofit kit like one of the ones from nanotuners/nanocustoms
