What is the recommended lighting hours for the cycle of the tank? 10 hrs? Also when the tank is established what is the recommended hours of lighting for the tank with fish and CUC.

You'll get varying opinions on this one.
I recommend lighting your tank 8-10 hours per day and starting just as soon as you set up the tank. If you have any hitch hiker corals they'll need light and you'll have algae growth regardless of whether you have lights on or not.
Good luck!

It depends what you want to accomplish. If you want to preserve a lot of photosynthetic life on your rocks as you cycle then you should have your lights on for a reasonable amount of time. I've been running the same cycle since I put live rock in my tank: actinics 12 hours, daylights 10 hours (on one hour after actinics, off one hour before).
Keep in mind when you start to add animals that a lot of them come from equatorial or near equatorial places, so they are used to 12 hours days all year long.
