i dont have a fuge to set up a reverse light cycle
so i was just thinking that the next best thing would be to soften the pH swing.
I just have a sunpod (single 150 watt HQI 14000K with 6 blue led moonlights and 6 white led moon lights)
will turning on the moonlights a couple ours before and a couple hours after the metal halide goes on and off help at all?

Not really, IME. The corals may come out early but I haven't seen any uptick in pH even with both the whites and blues on.
