Hey Everybody, I figured before you do all the work, and give me your .02 I'd give you the background to try and help you sway your choices. I currently have a 24G NC predominately stocked with SPS. I say predominately meaning its not nearly enough SPS as it should be but its more then the LPS and others in the tank.
First: My sun-pod bulb has been running since June 30th. If i follow the six month exchange rule, I should be getting on for christmas. Radium? Phoenix? Let me hear some good bulbs as I really only know the one I have which is a Phoenix 14K but was interested in the radium 20K. I like the look of the 14K but was interested in a change up? However what is the growth rate on certain K bulbs?
Secondly: How high should the fixture be hanging above the waters surface? I've heard basically to keep it at a level you want. I'm a bit scared to experiment as I don't want to light shock or bleach any of my corals.
Thanks everyone in advanced! I'm sketchy about the whole lighting issue.
