Hey everyone. I just went to drop a few flakes of food into the tank and couldn't spot my True Percula. I looked for a few minutes in the main area of the tank and it dawned on me that maybe he had ended up in the back. Sure enough, it was back there in the middle chamber! Thankfully for me, it did not make the transition to third chamber where the pump is! Has anyone else had this happen? Any solutions? Maybe we can get an inTank for the 12G Nanocube? Thanks everyone.

I'm thinking of getting some urethane weatherstripping foam that has the sticky backing and running a strip along the bottom of the light-lens/cover so when the hood is closed the foam touches the false wall, it'd work well to keep fish as well as CUC members out of the back. You might consider this for the time being.

Thank you, gregz. I might look into that too. It worried me when I saw the clown swimming in the back. I'm surprised more people haven't had the same issue. It's pretty strange that they would design it with that gap.

Yea i had that happen to a yellow watchman goby...but he made it to the 3rd chamber! he was missing for about 3 weeks then one day i saw a yellow fin sticking out of the outlet tube where the water comes back into the tank...sure enough he was there...got sucked into the pump didnt damage the pump at all..

I had my firefish back there a couple weeks ago, I have the upgraded mj900 in their with the guard on the intake though. It sure was fun taking everything out of the back and using a mini net to try and get that freaking fish out of there. He ended up jumping out and hitting me in the chest which banked him right back into the display.

next time im leaving him in there a couple of days to learn his lesson
