I ID my algae as Callithamnion aka Cotton Candy Algae from johnmaloney's Nuisance Algae Guide, A work in progress. It said Emerald Crabs, urchins, sea hares, large turbos, and some of the larger hermits eat it and was wondering which urchins and hermits noted above will eat it. I have tried Margarita Snail, Spiny Star Astraea Snail, Chestnut turbo snails, moon snail, and Mexican Turbo snails. Most of my turbos have been killed by my hermits, but I did notice the Mexican turbo snails make a small dent on one rock. Also, any idea if an Algae Blenny will touch this stuff? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Dunno about biology but how's your alk doing?
FrankenReef
I have seen lawnmower blennies and foxface eat it. The hermits also eat it but only in very small amounts.

Thanks. I will check my alk this weekend and maybe get a blennie.
