Yeah, that's a good idea, I'll research them a little. You know, once I get my new 1g fuge set up and running on my reef, I will most likely try to get a pair of flaming prawn gobies in there.

Nice!

Thread for it?

Well my 2yr old mandarin died today sad.gif. He was really healthy and eating frozen and pellets. Any how on a lighter note I'm going to get a big FAT one tomorrow potentially along with a female as long as they both eat something that I can feed them.

Well today I got a new huge FAT and healthy mandarin. He does not eat prepared as far as I know but his mouth is so big that I think I'll be able to get him eating soon.

Pics are coming soon, he is acclimating now.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for your yasha, Bongo?

New guy on the block- big and fat:
irogers
that's a good looking mandarin. I had one for several months and got it on prepared foods, but it died when i moved a couple months back.

$52 is a lot for a fish. But I'm getting a wheeler's watchman goby anyways.
Nemo Niblets
Bigger mandarins are easier to train, supposedly. SO after this guy gets big, get a big female too. Just make sure the male is bigger than the female.
Bongo Shrimp
Can I tell if it is a female if it has no hi-fin?

What is the yellow thing to the right of the aptasia? Is it really that bright solid yellow?
Bongo Shrimp
Hehe, it is the last surviving polyp of a sun coral I tried to save. It is doing very well though.
OClownsandNanos
Really love the unusual livestock you've got. Those new lights seem to really make the colors pop in your tank, at least based on the before and after FTS photos you posted. Will be following . . .
Nemo Niblets
Tank looks MUCH better with the new lights!
Bongo Shrimp
New FTS soon. And thanks nemo.

Wish I was better at actinic shots, then you'd see things POP.
