I bought Giesemann Nova II and Aqualight Pro used. Aqualight has an external magnetic ballast that is sort of like one unit with the whole system.
So how would you change to new ballast if the ballast goes out?
How do I know if it's time to change the ballast unless it's obvious? (like not turning on or very small light)
The seller said it's 3 years old, does that mean it's time the ballast is done?
Giesemann Nova II came with PFO 150W electrical ballast because the original ballast died according to seller.
Could I use 250W ballast for this later?
Is it possible to exchange electrical to magnetic or vice versa?
What does HQI mean really? Does it mean it's electric ballast or just DE system?
I would like answers to all these questions if possible. Thanks.
