so i bought a mexican turbo snail from my lfs store and it had this on it. any idea what it is?

That kinda sucks. Not only do you have a majano, but you have one that moves all over your tank!
Take it back and exchange it for a turbo that won't deposit little nightmares all over your tank. I wouldn't try to remove it. Just take it back.
