Nice!
What type of control, polygonal mesh or a higher level of control?

Is this a duplicate post?

I've never seen this before so the might be a good reason I don't know of but why is the plumbing behind a false wall? Wouldn't you want that little extra space and keep the plumbing outside the tank?

Hey Richard. Incredible build thread with all the aquarium controller electronics. Very nice CAD of your tank and sump. Only things I see is maybe a center support for that length of a sump stand and a possible frag tank sharing the fuge space and light.

Amazing Design.

i would recommend that the stand has 4x2 frame, this guarantees a very sturdy stand, which is the flaw i see in the new Solana XL 60.

are you planning on going through with this design or is it just for "####s and giggles".

was thinking something close to this just, never have to draw it up. try 3 scwd's (a 1" feeding 2 3/4") and make it a closed loop. link the cl with the return thru a pvc overflow/siphion type thing just above the water line, to act as a bubble trap. voila....

that was kinda my idea anyway

After some discussion with the designer of the Oceans motions device this looks like the final design:

Return from sump are constant flow and blow down the back wall to start the water rotation. The OM closed loop will alternate left return/right return and direct water across the base of the tank to force the flow to the overflow
