I am just starting up my 29 biocube. I have done a lot of reading and am pretty close to getting started. I purchased a 250 ml bottle of Purigen. Can anyone tell me how much I should use? I read the directions and everything is in ml & liters and I cannot seem to figure it out.
Thanks in advance.

All I buy are the packets - not the loose purigen. On the box it says one packet per 100 gallons. Each packet is 100Ml.

Thanks Todd
I emailed Purigen and they told me 6 teaspoons(30 mls) for my 29 biocube and 15 teaspoons for my 72 bow.

same thing with me. I just use a packet. I'm not sure about teaspoons of it.

Each 1 L treats up to 4,000 L (1,000 gallons*)

So...29mL should handle 29 gallons

29 milliliter = 1.96 Tablespoon(Round off to 2) or 5.88 Teaspoon (6, like they told you)

You can't overdue it, I use the 100mL bag in my 24 gallon Aquapod.

I have never used Purigen. I did not know it came in bags. Definitely easier.
Thanks everyone.

Purigen has a way of finding any hole or larger micron area. Just get the 100ml bag and save yourself a snowstorm later.

How often are yall finding the Purigen lasts? I'd like to run it in my Aquapod 24 and my 10g (in a Subcurrent filter).
