I'm setting up my new 12G Nanocube and I need some advise on a powerhead.
I have a reef keeper lite and I also want to utilize the wave maker function. I've read that the Koralia's are not a good choice for a wave maker.
Can anyone that is currently using (or previously used) a wave maker suggest a brand/model powerhead they would recommend for this setup?
Thanks in advance for your help.

This is not going to be a 'cheap' proposition. I believe the cheapest would be the Tunze Turbelle 6055

Really???
I've heard stories of Seio's and MaxJets being used on wave generators.
I could buy a Vortech MP10 for the price of that Tunze. The vortech would also come with a wave generator.
Any other options or opinions out there.

how about a Seio P320, really nice flow out of a small pump.

Yes Seio's and Maxi's are used. However they are not designed for it. Vortech's are and are a good solution. However your criteria wash that it was controllable via your controller which the 6055 is and the 6055 allows for variable voltage which the Seio's and Maxi's don't. The MP10 does but its not controllable from your controller.

Ok, so I guess I should have been more specific.
I am looking for a powerhead that someone has used on a wavemaker controller and has had success (~6-12 months of service with no problems). I'm also looking to spend <$100 on this powerhead.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I've never used them in a wavemaker, but Maxi-jets are supposed to do just fine, true, they aren't "controllable", but thats not how the RKL/RKE does its normal wavemaking, its a simple on/off with the outlets, which the Maxi-jet can handle just fine. Drsfostersmith used to sell a pair of MJ pumps with that semi-inexpensive powerstrip style wavemaker as a kit, that ought to say at least a little something.
