I just received the Tek Leg Mount for the 36" 6 Lamp and I tried to put it on the 40G Breeder but it does not fit. I've slid the legs all the way in to close the gap but there is still about an inch or two of space between the legs and the frame. Anyone else have this prroblem?

You gotta flip one of the legs around. I mean the feet, it will fit then. I had the same problem on my 40.

if i do that, wouldn't it be very easy for the light to slip off since the legs are all facing one direction?

flip everything around so the configuration has both of the feet pushing out on the tank. Its hard to explain but i will try to take a pic of mine if needed.

thanks, i think i know what you mean. i was gonna make a diy lid as well but i'll cut the pieces around the light legs.
