OK I'm getting a headache from reading so many threads laugh.gif

I just purchased the 28G JBJ nano cube from my LFS, along with a few pounds of live rock just to get the process started, and a sand base. Also added some turbo start 900 at the recommendation of my LFS, and filled with their premixed RO salt water.

My main question is concerning the 3 chambers in the rear.... I am seeing that most people do not leave any of the stock filtration in place. What is the most commonly accepted order back there? I can't seem to find a straight answer on here by searching. Just a million people using short hand that I can't decipher laugh.gif

Thanks!

Anyone? I have been reading and reading and can't seem to find a simple description of what to replace the stock filtration with? sad.gif

I keep seeing stuff about filter floss, but what about the other 2 chambers?

In the media basket I have Puigen and Phosguard In the bottom, chemi Pure Elite in the middle, with another bag of carbon, then polyfill in the top section. I know this is a little over kill, but I don't use a skimmer. Any type of sponge back there lose it.

I just took out all the stock stuff and put live rock in all 3 chambers. I'll pick up some of the above mentioned things this week. In my old BC14 I always ran it with nothing but LR in the middle chamber, but I did have the sponge still intact...

I'll prob go get some of the chemi pure elite tonight actually
