As of now I have a 33 long but I saw a 5 gallon at my lfs and after seeing all these pico reefs on nr I had to have one. So my plan is to build a false wall. Offset the wall 4 inches and put a maxi jet 600 in one side as the return. Here's where I need some advice in the overflow chamber is there anyway to get some cheato in their or should I try to squeeze a third chamber in there?????

Here is how I did mine. I don't like the end of tank method, took up to much viewing space IMO. As you can see I have a filter, cheato and pump chamber. I have had this tank setup for most of the year. Just got to busy to really do anything with it. I also ran into some issues with my top off system, finally sorted it all out and now I have some time to get back to this project. I am using the Nove Extreme SLR 2x18w T5 light. I have not been happy with this lights results and will be doing something differant. Either 70w MH or try Evils new LED PAR 38 bulb.

Anyway that said, if I had to do it over again I don't think I would go with the false wall AIO system I think I would go to the modded AC70 hang on filter. Again not as much tank realestate used for filtration.

i had CoRPS build this for my 5.5g aio

in the second picture notice the little tabs on the intake side. that is for a media basket (which will house filter floss & chaeto in that order)

hope this helps
