Not sure, but if I were monitoring that many things, Id get the elite for sure. I have the lite and it is perfect for me, but the elite will be going on my big tank when I get it up and going again.

Hi, each SL1 module that you add to the head unit allows you to add 1 extra pH probe as well as 1 extra ORP probe and 1 extra Temp probe.

Hope this answers your question.

RKL1 can't run any probes except temp outta the box, RKL3 can run ORP and PH = extra temp outta the box. As an add to what Reef Goddess said, the SL2 can run a PH and salinity probe + extra temp.

Your limit is 4 modules, no matter what the configuration.

Can they also support a calcium probe or nitrate say from pinpoint?
fishieCJ
No, those are more complicated and expensive devices that the low cost RKL dosent support.

It's not that the RKL couldn't support them. It's just that DA doesn't have modules to support those types of probes. The SL1 and SL2 will only do ph, ORP and salinity.
