I bought a good chuck of war coral on a circle frag. Its about a 1" tall, 1.5' long and its growing like crazy. Its spreading out over the frag tile and growing up. How can I frag a few small peices?
Here are a few pics when I got it. and now its growing over the edge of the tile.

Dremmel with diamond cutting wheel from the bottom up then use a sterile scalpel to cut the flesh part.

Use the dremmel to cut up from the bottom until you are at the stony underside of the coral. Keep the coral moist while you do this as the dremmel will burn the coral from the friction. When you get to that point use the scalpel to cut the flesh itself. Just cut right down the middle or to the side. Your choice. Either way it should grow a mouth back.

looks kinda on the small side to frag.... why not let it grow out to cover the whole disc and the cut it up?
