and i have it on short pulse but i dont really get how u get it to make the waves it just kinda speeds up and slows down and makes ripples but not waves... the instructions are a little confusing to me... how did u who have it on short pulse have it make waves?

When you first select short pulse (blue) using the mode button, you are setting the maximum speed with the dial. For making waves, it's best to have it close to the maximum speed. Then, hold the set button until the light blinks, which is when you set the frequency (pulse length) with the dial. This is where you should have a frequency that's relatively quick to achieve a wave (requires some tweaking/testing but should be only a couple of seconds), holding the set button after to finalize the sequence.
