I was thinking about starting with a pair of clowns. Should I go smaller? I just want to make sure everything is perfect!

I was going for the same thing but someone suggested its a risk and too much bioload sad.gif i would go with one just to be safe thats what im doing biggrin.gif

2 clowns (alone) is about the maximum. You would do best to get 1-2 gobies (that are smaller than ~3" in max. size).

if you have 2 clowns you will have to do waterchanges weekly.. if you can keep up with that then ya do it but you have to make sure that you dont over feed them.. its kinda risky and if you new to the whole fish thing i woudl try to stay away from it

i would say go. i had 3 fish in my 10 gallon b4. a pair of clown and a damsel. and their fine. the whole time i had my tank for 2 years. just keep up on ur water changes

Yeah, for my freshwater (little guppy named Button!) I do water changes saturday. I could deffinetly do that for the clowns to!
