Full Version: Upgrade or switch? Recommendations plz
The current setup is is 20" 2x40W Satellite PC. Currently, I only have GSP, frogspawn, yellow polyps and candy canes for livestock. They did well under the lighting until recently. I am also facing algae problems. It's time to change the lamps but I'm wondering if there are any other options I should consider.

In a 10 gallon, I would get T5s, personally. A Nova Extreme Pro or a TEK fixture are good choices.
Also, you can do a 24" fixture and upgrade to an all-in-one cube in the future if you ever wanted more space.

I'll looking into the T5s atm but I don't think I'll change the tank. I guess 20" - 24" all works.
