Full Version: LR Rubble as filter media
At the moment (am going to remove it) I have LR rubble in the second chamber of my 8g bio cube, along with some Chemi Pure Elite. My question is this, like with bio balls does the rubble need to be removed and cleaned?

Don't put rubble in the back. It'll trap detrius and create a nitrate factory. I've got a NC 12 and all I have in the back is filter floss and chemipure. Works fine for me.
