Full Version: First addition to tank questions
I have posted around trying to figure out if I am ok or not. I just got a CBS and I need to know if I need to feed him/what to feed him. I have small pellets for fish and have tried to offer then to him but he doesn't seem interested. I just got him on Friday and he molted last night (freaked me out cause I thought he was dead). So, what should I expect here? Is he feeding himself by picking at my rocks or will he warm up to the pellets I leave in the sand near him?

He/She will eat. Don't worry. Give it a few days to acclimate. Too it just got done molting, so it's gonna be hungry.
It will eat the pellets that sink to the bottom of the tank yes?
