So, I just finished converting my 29g from FW planted to saltwater.Currently, there's 23lbs of lr in there, with 50000000000000000000000 hitchhiking feather dusters. I currently have a souped-up bc8 with a protein skimmer and 178 watts of mh. The new tank will be predominantly sps, lps, and zoas. Equip that I already have:

Bad news people. The stupid camera broke!!! Well, I need suggestions for a show-piece fish that would fit, be 3-4inches, active, cool looking, and NO WRASSE!
I added 5 hermits today, and they seem happy.

I have a diatom bloom going on, and today I had some unexpected additions:
1 frogspawn
1 green plate monti (free)
1 yellow tailed blue damsel(free)
I know this is stupid: fish and corals after 2 1/2 weeks, but how can you pass up free and 50% off stuff, anyway, the monti increased its green color by 110%. I hope I can fix the camera.

Got 5 nass snails and one emerald crab today.

You might look around at different skimmers. The seaclones generally aren't viewed as top notch and you can easily get a really good second hand skimmer for <$100. For instance, my friend just bought a Eshopps PSK-75H for $75 that someone returned for no obvious reason.

Sheesh! I totally forgot this thread was running. I Don't have a lot to update, but I'm leaving the sump out. Also the most abundant living thing in the tank is dinoflagellates! (oh my I totally misspelled that) Clam doing great. I got an ORA birdsnest for $18. Same stock, Rg, yhj, and an occe. Have a k2 and a k3 running in there! I did add an arrow crab to munch on that fireworm. And a longspine urchin.
