Im switching from reef crystals at 1.026 to NeoMarine at 1.025
I should be safe mixing the new salt at 1.025 and doing my waterchange and eventually getting the whole tank down to 1.025. Am i correct in thinking this will be ok for my livestock?
I'm just doing a 10% nothing crazy.

Just dilute the tank water with freshwater to 1.025 first. Using water changes to change specific gravity will take longer to achieve the same s.g.

the .001 change rapidly wont hurt the livestock? Or are you saying to dilute over a few days?

IMO that's a small changed, but to be safe you could do it over the course of a day, just add a little top off water, then a little more a few hours later till you reach your desired level.

Alright thanks guys!
I'm hoping this NeoMarine salt shows some improvement in my tank. Dont get me wrong, theres nothing wrong in my tank, but if the corals color up or expand more im happy.
