As many of you know our situation is bad and finances are starting to get critical for us. We have already effectively written the Holidays off for this year, and are just trying to stay afloat.
What all this means to you: I'm having a big ole frag or colony sale. I have MANY beautiful corals stuffed into my system, and anything there is for sale. I will be making deals on anything, but will not give the corals away. If anybody wants any GREAT corals, or wants to help please get in touch. They are basically all SPS or LPS, but I have a few really nice zoanthids. I would like to keep a small frag of anything I'm getting rid of, as I will be trying to set up a grow out system for a future start.
Here are a few random shots, just to give an idea of what I have.

There are MANY others, this is just a representation. Please drop me a note if you wnat anything and we can arrange a time to come by. If someone wants to make a large scale purchase I could probably arrange shipping, but time and work requirements prevent me from being able to do much shipping.

So sorry you are having to do this Mitch, wish I was in a place to help out.
I'd love to get some LPS from your beautiful system, but I'm just not in a place to do it right now.
Good luck.
To everyone else, Mitch is a Stand Up Guy, you can buy from him with confidence.

And I HATE seeing price-gouging on corals....

Mitch I wish you'd give me a rough estimate of what you want for the silver bullet I don't want to low ball, but I also don't have a good feel for what it's worth is.

That's called the Silver Bullet Bonzai. It's a really rare color morph. That piece is pretty massive and is like 2 inches. The person it came from sells a 1" single branch frag for $40, so I would let this one go for $80. This is tryuly a mini-colony and not a frag at all.

This is the Silver Bullet Bonsai? I can't find much about it, but that it's a Goniopora morph? Could that be right? I want it if the pick up doesn't fall through

I guess I'll wait in line.

LOL, well quickly frag it before she gets there
Just yesterday I was thinking how I have 250w Phoenix MH bulb, a Vortech MP10, and all of my softies, LPS and zoas are moderate light, moderate flow. I think the Silver Bullet will be my first venture to SPS (if I can find one now!!!). Or else the top third of my display is gonna be looking pretty sad!

I'm actually not breaking down just now, just selling off the corals, keeping starter frags and starting another slow grow out...My wife convinced me to keep the tank going...her statement was that the tank is my only pleasure and stress reliever, so it was not going to go away....I sure do love her

Think I love her too Mitch.
Sounds like she's a keeper for certain. Probably why you married her huh?
Sorry you must sell off some of your prized stock.
Good to read you will still be running though.
With your reefing skills it won't be long before you fill that 75 back up.
I hope life eases up for you and yours very soon Mitch.
Take good care and hang in there.

Thanks a bunch Richie....the nice words mean a lot....we have been pinching pennies for over a year, but they are starting to get few and far between now...I just saw this as a possible out for some of the immediate concern....Something's gotta give soon though or I MAY have to tear all the way down...
I keep praying and wishing on lucky stars and rubbing Bhudda bellies, and about everything else every chance I get....things will change, I just hope it's soon enough...
My Bride is a real gem...I'm soooo glad she married me....

Leaving mitch's place now will post more indepth when at home but
If you pass this up your a moron. The coral is beyond awesome as are the people. If you have the cash do yourself a favor and buy it ALL so he will ship it. It doesn't get better than this.
He is in a tough way financially and he is still charging a better than fair price. So fair in fact I feel like I robbed him and I intend to paypal him a few more $$ so I don't feel like such an ass

God bless you Orphic, it was wonderful meeting and spending time with y'all. Thanks so much for the kind words and I'm just glad you were happy with the deals you got. I cannot express how much of a difference the sale will make for us. I certainly didn't intend for you to send anything else, not at all.
Lawnman, thanks for the great words. I have a fine wife. She is truly a gift in my life.
A lot of people are asking about shipping. I have limited shipping to orders of $300 or more + actual shipping. I am working for a boss who doesn't believe in quitting time at all, so it is going to be a genuine hardship for me to get home in time to box and ship things. Therefore, the restriction on shipping. I am sorry, but I hope everyone understands. I am not setting the limit just for convenience or greed I promise. Most days I leave for work prior to 7 am and don't get home until 7 or 8 pm, and just to make it even worse, I'm salaried. It really sux.

I just got back with Orphic from Mitch's. I have to say that his tank and the frags that he's selling are phenomenal. If you really want top quality corals Mitch is definitely the person to buy from.
Mitch, it was really good meeting you and your wife. I wish you both many blessings. Thanks.

I believe we went into this deal expecting a "fair" price and you lowballed me man!!!
Plus the "free frag" for the drive was at LEAST a 50$ frag, and I and the 2 nut jobbies that came with me all agree the pleasure of yours and the Mrs. company was well worth the three hour drive.
Now then, would you like paypal or money order via mail?

Super-duper day today. Picked up a few gorgeous pieces from Mitch this morning at his beautiful house. Fascinating to see the peninsula tank that inspired me to set my tank up the same way. It was hard to pick from all the different pieces he has. I wanted a chip of everything. Some exceptional corals to pick from. The prices were very enticing for what he was giving. I hope I gave you enough. I now have some wonderful show pieces in my tank that are looking excellent. It was great finally getting to meet you Mitch.

Thanks so very much Sue. The weekend was a great success...I still have a lot of coral in my tank, and actually still have quite a bit available, but the sale was a great success....I now have a WHOLE LOT of little frags, where I had a bunch of colonies, but that's okay because they all started out as frags...I can do this again.
I really have to say a great big THANK YOU to all the members of our reefing community who came out....
God Bless all of you,
Mitch
p.s. I still have things available, but as I said before, it's pretty much all going to be local pickup....
