I am considering getting the RKL, partly since I may later want it to control an LED array, partly for heater control, partly for wavemaker functions, and partly for expandability.

So what does the $100 model do right out of the box?

Can it be used as a wavemaker right out of the box, or does this require any sort of expansion accessory?

What is needed for it to interface with the Meanwell ELN 48-60P for dimming LED's?

Wavemaker is just a function of tuning ports on the PC4 on and off, so it can do it right out of the box. You will need the ALC module to control the drivers.

Thanks Evil. Just weighing the options.... the thought occurred to me as I was reading through the big Meanwell thread.

Can I plug a splitter or 3-way into one of the ports to run several pumps (on the power cycle) and another 3-way into another port, so that I have two sets of pumps on the same kind of cycle (for two tanks in the same system)?

sort of a highjack but with the same theme ..................................

with the purchase of a PH probe can it monitor PH ???

to also monitor ORP do you need to buy another module along with a ORP probe??

if you get one of their float switches does it do the ATO straight from the box ???

if monitoring both PH and ORP will it display all that on the display at the same time --- or does it cycle through the display ---- or do you have to push a button to see the parameters it's monitoring??

Yes, but only on ports 1 and 4 (the relay ports).

You need to buy the SL1 module to measure ph and ORP. You need the SL1, SL2, or SW5 module to interface with ATO switches.
