Does anyone have any experience with the Auqa Medic Turboflotor Blue 1000 HOB skimmer. Is this a good skimmer? I am replacing my Eshopps PSK-75H. Had the pump go bad on both eshopps skimmers. Had to return them both. I have to go hang on since I have no sump. This is for my 55 gallon fish only aquarium?

supposed to be ok, the ocean runner pumps on them are supodly loud and generally unreliable. i cant say though because ive never run one. just going by what ive seen on the net.

it would work good i believe, it might be a step back from your current skimmer as the eshopps has a pretty stong following and is considered to be one of the best hang on's.i unstand you wanted to change to another skimmer as yours has problems. i just dont know if going from one with problems to another with problems would be worth it.
