Is this a sign of maturity? Dietary deficiency? I have offered seaweed in a clip, as well as (in desperation) romaine lettuce, but it only consumes frozen brine/squid/mixed food or flake. Suggestions?

I'm looking at other images of this fish online- maybe this coloration is normal? It wasn't there before, but the fish has grown a lot.
LOL thanks Lakshwa. Have I ever told you how much I appreciate you around here?

Totally normal--sign of maturity. Congrats!
I remember once a friend of mine was very concerned because his mimic tang developed little white spots at the base of his eye--were they fungal, bacterial, viral??? Turns out it's normal coloration in adult mimics (see below). Never hurts to google images of your fish to compare to others.

Pretty fish. One of my favorite dwarf angels. (and yes, normal, but you knew that already)

Hey Tash, out of curiosity, what are we looking at behind the angelfish in the above photo? Looks almost like a leather with its polyps half out or....?
